If you believe your camera does have a fault, it will need to be looked at by our Camera Repairs Technicians at Brookvale for assessment. We do not provide quotes or estimates until we have inspected the camera.
Please print out and complete the Camera Repairs Lodgement Form, and you should package the camera well, making sure it is secure, and does not move around in the box.
Make sure to fully describe the problem or fault you are experiencing, including prints if you think that will help identify the problem (these will not be returned). You should also include any accessories that may be affected by the problem you are having. For example, if you suspect the camera has a power problem, make sure you include the batteries you are using and associated power charger, in the box with your camera. Be sure that you make a list of everything that you are sending to us, as this will be logged
If you are claiming the repair under warranty, you will need to provide your proof of purchase (receipt) and your warranty card. Photocopies of these documents are acceptable. Please note the terms of the warranty are strict.
If your camera is not covered by warranty, there is a $40 fee payable if you choose not to proceed with the repair after a quotation has been issued. This is payable before we return your un-repaired camera to you. Repair costs generally start from $120 plus parts Once your camera has been received and booked into our system, you will receive a letter of acknowledgement providing you with a Job Reference Number
